This site is offered in collaboration with the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia's Business School.

Plan A mobile clinics bring health care directly to underserved communities in Mississippi, with an emphasis on improving sexual and reproductive health. We serve all people, regardless of insurance status, income, or location, and ensure access to affordable, quality, and compassionate care. Our first clinic opened in April 2021 and serves the Mississippi Delta region.

Project Information:
Plan A clinics offer free healthcare services in rural communities with a focus on women's health and SRH. Our research includes an ongoing evlauation program, an analysis of existing clinics in the region, a community needs assessment, and a multisite study on HIV outreach in rural communities. In general, we are also devloping materials and doing ongoing community outreach through campaigns as well as developing a plan to launch a second clinic.

Student Project Activities:
The student would work closely with the existing team in one or more aspects of this work (weekly team meetings, regular communication via slack/email, one-on-one meetings).
