Message From the Team

Our program works to support the emergence of a new generation of leaders in global and population health through education, research, and field experiences.

Graduate students across the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) are exposed to social, legal, economic, political, environmental, and cultural considerations that greatly impact health outcomes and inform our understanding of what Global and Population Health is.

We also aim to connect students’ Global and Population Health experiences with efforts to improve the health care and well-being of vulnerable populations.

Our website highlights the student projects we sponsored through our Summer Research program in 2023. Students and mentors traveled and/or embraced a remote approach to developing their global and population health research work, with outstanding results.

Please join us in congratulating the students, mentors, donors, and staff who made all these projects possible.
